Mandatory steps before you apply for your immigration:
Step 1 - Language Proficiency Assessment
Do your English and or French language proficiency test.
• International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - General
OR
• Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP)
AND/OR
• Test d’évaluation de français (TEF)
Step 2 - Educational Credential Assessment
If you completed your university or college degree, diploma or certificate outside of Canada, you are required to do an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).
Follow the process in the link corresponding to your field of study and submit all the required documents to the designated place:

International Qualifications Assessment Service
International Credential Evaluation Service
Medical Council of Canada (Professional body for Doctors)
Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (Professional body for Pharmacists)
